For three days this October, Site Seen brings together 15 contemporary artists inside Market Basket Delicatessen, a working deli in the heart of Kingston, as part of O+ Festival Kingston 2026.

Rather than transforming the deli into a gallery, Of Paper & Plate allows the two to coexist. The counter stays open, lunch gets made, customers come and go, and art enters a space already in motion. The exhibition takes its title from two familiar objects, paper and plate, and invites artists to consider their material, cultural and associative possibilities while responding to a place never designed for the presentation of art.
