“Of Needle and Nerve” was a Site Seen activation that transformed a former tattoo parlor in Kingston, New York, into a temporary home for 30+ artists working in sculpture, painting, textiles, photography, ceramics, and mixed media.

“Of Needle and Nerve” explored the pull between precision and instinct, the quiet tension inside every act of making, and the way creative work holds a room even in a space built for a different kind of mark. Visitors stepped into an intimate setting, its character and rawness preserved, where each piece held its own pulse and the entire space felt newly awake.
